Do I Need A Home Inspection?

Do you ever make a purchase, any purchase at all, without having a pretty good idea of what you are buying?  Im sure most, if not all, people know exactly what they are getting when they hand over their hard earned cash for a product or service.  We are living in a time where there is endless information at our fingertips.  With with just a few searches on the web you can find anything and everything you need to know about a specific product.  We have to be smart with how we spend our money.  Buying a home is the largest investment most people will make in their lifetime and it would only make sense to have as much information as possible when making such a large investment.  Research what you are buying so you know exactly what you are getting.  That is basically what a home inspection is, research of the entire home and all of its major systems and components.

The home inspector, following the standards of practice set forth by West Virginia State Fire Commission Title 87, will provide you with a detailed report on the overall condition of the home or property you are investing in.  You can be sure that once a licensed inspector checks out your investment you will know exactly what you are getting.  Per Title 87 the ”home inspector shall inspect readily accessible installed systems and components of a residential dwelling and provide a written report to the client upon completion of the home inspection.”  The findings of the home inspector will be recorded in a report that is simple and easy to understand with detailed pictures throughout the report.  Peace of mind is something you simply cannot put a price tag on.  Do your research, hire a home inspector, and rest easy knowing you took all the necessary steps to protect your hard earned money.
