How much time does a standard Home Inspection take and when will I receive the completed report?
On average, a typical home inspection will take three hours to complete. The general rule of thumb is about 1-1.5 hours per 1,000 square feet of the home. The age of the home, as well as construction design can either lengthen or shorten the amount of time it takes to inspect the home. You will recieve your Home Inspection report 48 hours after the the inspection is complete.
Do I have to be present during the Inspection?
No. The Inspector can perform the inspection regardless if anyone is present or not. Some clients choose to walk with the inspector so they can watch, learn, and ask questions throughout the process. The decision is completely up to the client.
